Donsai Roads is a Canadian Hip-Hop recording artist based out of Toronto. His style draws influence from a wide spectrum of genres, making his sound quite unique.
Pulling from the roots of Hip-Hop and blending them with hints of R&B, jazz, rap and on occasion heavy metal. Some of his writing influences include artists such as Ben Harper, David Usher and Jack Johnson to name a few.
Donsai grew up in a very musical family, with his father being formally trained in playing the saxophone and accordion, brother playing guitar and mother singing on occasion for local events. Donsai, however gravitated toward the art of writing. This propelled his career towards accomplishments such as performing along side the industry's most well known artists. Some of these include Red Man, Swollen Members, Classified and Black Sheep.
In 2013 with the release of his first official studio album "Lets Cut Tha Formalities", Donsai began touring the province. Since then the album has continued to see much success, being carried in stores all across Ontario and the web.
Donsai Roads is currently working on his second studio album with his in house producer "Profane". The album is set to release in late 2020 / early 2021.
